Roof Repair in Dunnellon, FL

A homeowner in Dunnellon called us when a few worn spots and aging roof vents started threatening leaks. Before the next round of Florida storms, our crew restored the trouble areas on their architectural asphalt shingle roof and left it watertight.

The project

This Dunnellon home has an architectural (dimensional) asphalt shingle roof, the practical entry tier for Florida because it carries the wind ratings the Florida Building Code requires for our region. The shingles were still in good shape overall, but a couple of penetrations and a worn section needed attention before they let water in.

What we did

  • Replaced and resealed the aging roof vents and the plumbing pipe boot.
  • Restored the worn shingle area and re-secured loose tabs.
  • Checked the surrounding field and flashing so the repair blends in and sheds water cleanly.

The result

A sound, watertight roof the homeowner can trust through storm season, handled as a targeted repair instead of a full replacement. Catching wear early is the least expensive way to protect a roof, and it is the kind of honest, right-sized work we like to do for our neighbors across West Central Florida.
