My roof has two layers of shingle already. Does that cost more?
Yes, and we would rather tell you before we start than surprise you on install day. A second layer is more tear-off, more disposal, and it usually hides decking that needs work. If we see signs of it during the inspection we price it in up front.
Do you replace rotten plywood?
When we find it, yes. Every estimate carries a wood allowance so a normal amount is already covered. If a roof turns out to be far worse than it looked, we show you photos before anything extra gets billed.
